What is your goal? Ultra Marathon, Marathon or Parkrun, it doesn't matter, the process starts by looking at barriers, the things that are making it difficult for you to progress. Neil can support you through this, he works with business professionals, time-crunched clients, and beginners.

Ultra Bolivia is a goal event for two of my premium clients, which will take place in September 2026. We leave no stone unturned in our preparation.  Athletes will run 220 km at over 3600 meters of altitude on the Bolivian Altiplano in South America, they will have learned the skills to help them through this hostile environment so that their event is an experience they will never forget.

7 Valleys finish for Mike

Mike and I worked together for twelve months preparing for the 7 Valleys Ultra in the Lake District. The event is a 110KM, self-navigation ultramarathon, with a total elevation of 3,800+mtrs and a cut-off time of 28 hours, Mike, a retired health professional smashed it with time to spare, and I was at the finish line to congratulate him.

We did get to run in the hills together during the preparation for this event but Mike's coaching was primarily remote using the Training Peaks platform, we were regularly in contact, and daily updates on fatigue and general feedback played a part in the success.

Mike is a returning Premium client, we have worked together since 2019 and he's currently searching for a 2025 challenge.

I have limited places for my premium service, during October and November they soon get filled.

You don't need to have your sights set on ultra-distance events, of course, clients have spent just a few months with me in the past with a target to run five kilometres, It's your goal, I show you how to achieve it.

Coach Neil Clarke.

UTS Finisher

Simon has worked with me for two years, he's a time-served ultra-distance athlete, and he ran UTS 50 this year and finished with hours to spare, Simon told me he'd never been better prepared for a race and is coming back this year to prepare for UTS 100

2025 ULTRA

Becky came to me as a 40 minute parkrunner three years ago, well we have knocked fifteen minutes off that, now an accomplished trail runner and a true athlete, an influence in the A2U family and my freind, we are working towards Becky's first Ultra Distance event in 2025

PD Challenger

Husband and wife team Freya and Rory are my heros, they came to me early this year with a goal of running an ultra, they'd never done anything like this before and were not really runners before joining the A2U family, I made it clear from the start that they had a mountain to climb, they successfully completed a two day 100k event and they are still with me, looking for a harder challenge.
